For over 50 years, Leather Man Ltd. has been crafting excellent New England belts in a small factory. We believe there are certain rules to follow in making a quality belt, and we have learned to adhere to these principles through decades of experience.

Firstly, we use only the best components. The brass buckles are cast and hand-polished to a low luster, sourced from the same foundry that supplies Vuitton, Coach, and Dooney. This brass is fully compliant with California Proposition 65. The leather we use is vegetable-tanned, top-grain shoulder leather with an aniline dye, produced by North America's largest tannery.

Our custom-designed ribbons often require five or six iterations to achieve the exact effect we desire. However, the most important aspect is the workmanship. With an average employee tenure of 13 years, our factory boasts a combined 278 man-years of experience. This extensive expertise is crucial, as we have no separate quality control department – each employee is responsible for ensuring only perfect craftsmanship is passed on, every time.

We are fully compliant with all federal, state, and local workplace regulations.

We simply believe our belts are well-crafted, beautifully designed, and a worthwhile investment. If you typically wear a size 34 pant, we recommend ordering a size 36 belt, as they tend to run small.
